We completed a comprehensive window replacement project featuring 28 Andersen Woodwright windows, known for their timeless design, superior energy efficiency, and durable construction. Each step of the installation process was carried out with precision and attention to detail to ensure lasting quality and performance.

Exterior Trim and Sill Replacement

To enhance durability and curb appeal, all existing exterior trim and full sills were replaced with custom-crafted PVC trim molding. PVC was chosen for its resistance to rot, warping, and weathering, providing a low-maintenance solution that maintains its pristine appearance over time.

Flashing and Waterproofing

Proper flashing is critical for protecting the home from moisture intrusion. Before installing the new exterior PVC casings, we meticulously applied high-performance flashing tape to seal each window opening. This step ensures a watertight barrier, preventing potential damage and improving the overall efficiency of the windows.

Sealing for Longevity

To achieve a seamless transition between the wood windows and the PVC exterior components, we used a premium exterior-grade caulking/sealant. This application not only creates a clean, finished look but also protects against drafts, leaks, and environmental wear, extending the lifespan of the installation.

This project is a testament to our commitment to blending craftsmanship with cutting-edge materials, delivering windows that are as functional as they are beautiful.
