POWER OF OUR PROCESS
At CORE Remodeling Services, we’re dedicated to building lasting relationships with our clients. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and earn your trust through exceptional performance from the initial design phase all the way through project completion. To ensure a superior home remodeling experience, we follow a proven process that helps set clear expectations, deliver a seamless experience, and achieve outstanding results. Learn more about our process below to determine if we’re the right contractor for your project.
Step 1: Project Discussion
No matter how you find us, our office will have an initial conversation with you about your project. This usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
They will gather as much information as possible in order to understand the type and scope of your project. This includes discussing your project budget. At CORE we believe our relationship is a partnership. The only way we can determine if we are the right fit for your project is to know if we have a realistic budget for the project. If you are not willing to share your budget, we will not be able to help you with your project.
If your project is a popular type (such as a kitchen or bathroom remodel), we will provide you with high level budget ranges based on similar past projects in the Greater Worcester County MA, Metro West MA and Northern CT area. These budget ranges come from the well-known and respected "Cost vs. Value Report” published yearly by Remodeling Magazine.
Step 2: Are We The Right Fit?
After our initial discussion, there are a couple of potential outcomes:Option 1
RIGHT BUDGET RANGE – Once we've established a suitable budget range for your project that aligns with your expectations, and both parties agree CORE could be a good fit, we’ll schedule a complimentary consultation at your home with one of our Remodeling Consultants. These consultations are typically for Design/Build projects.
If necessary, your Remodeling Consultant may follow up after reviewing the notes from your initial phone conversation. This will allow them to gather any additional details to ensure they’re fully prepared for your in-person meeting.
Option 2
UNCOMMON OR SMALL PROJECT – For projects that are either unique or smaller in scope, it can be more challenging to provide an accurate budget estimate right away. In these cases, we’ll ask you to send us photos, plans, or sketches of your project via email. Once we receive these materials, a Remodeling Consultant will review them to determine if it’s a project we can assist with. Our office will then follow up with a high-level budget estimate or let you know if we’re unable to take on the project.
If the project is larger in scale, it will proceed through our Design/Build process. However, not all projects require a full Design/Build agreement. Many smaller projects—such as decks, window, and door replacements—are straightforward and can be easily priced with a fixed-price contract.
Option 3
WRONG BUDGET RANGE - If we’re unable to provide a budget range that aligns with your expectations, or if we both determine that CORE isn’t the right fit for your project, we can respectfully part ways. Should circumstances change in the future, we’ll always be here to help when you’re ready.
