POWER OF OUR PROCESS
At CORE Remodeling Services we are committed to developing long-term relationships with our customers. We will exceed your expectations, and gain your trust through superior performance from the initial design through the completion of your project. In order for us to provide you with a superior home remodeling experience and be above the rest, we have a system and process that we follow in order to set proper expectations, provide our customers with a great experience and a great final result.Read about our process below to see if we are the right contractor for you.
Step 1: Project Discussion
No matter how you find us, our office will have an initial conversation with you about your project. This usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
They will gather as much information as possible in order to understand the type and scope of your project. This includes discussing your project budget. At CORE we believe our relationship is a partnership. The only way we can determine if we are the right fit for your project is to know if we have a realistic budget for the project. If you are not willing to share your budget, we will not be able to help you with your project.
If your project is a popular type (such as a kitchen or bathroom remodel), we will provide you with high level budget ranges based on similar past projects in the Greater Worcester County and Metro West area. These budget ranges come from the well-known and respected "Cost vs. Value Report” published yearly by Remodeling Magazine.
Step 2: Are We The Right Fit?
A couple potential outcomes from that initial discussion...
RIGHT BUDGET RANGE – If we are able to provide you with a good budget range for your project and you are comfortable with that range and we both agree CORE might be a good fit for your project, we will schedule a no cost consultation at your home with one of our Remodeling Consultants. These projects usually fall into the Design/Build projects.
If needed, after reviewing the notes from your initial phone meeting your Remodeling Consultant may call you to discuss your project in a bit more detail so they can be better prepared for your initial meeting.
Option 1
Option 2
UNCOMMON OR SMALL PROJECT – If your project is not common or a small project, it may be hard to budget. In this case we will request pictures and/or plans or sketches be emailed to our office. Once received a Remodeling Consultant will review and determine if it is a project we can help you with. The office will then follow up with you to provide a high level budget range or let you know that we are unable to help you with this project.
If it is a large project it would then follow our Design/Build process. Not all projects need a design/build agreement. Many smaller projects such as decks, window and door replacements can be estimated easily and we can easily provide a fixed price contract.
Option 3
WRONG BUDGET RANGE - If we are not able to provide you a budget range for your project that you are comfortable with or we both agree CORE is not the right fit for your project, we can part ways. We will always be here if circumstances change.
What happens after that? Read about our design and build process.
