Living Room Remodeling/Renovation - Millbury MA
Project: Removed all brick from fireplace and hearth. Removed baseboard molding. Stripped carpet from entrance way stairs. Removed all window casings, jambs and sills. Kept half circle trim to strip and reuse. Installed all new unprimed casings, jambs and sills.
Fireplace:
Installed Sensa Waterfall 3 CM Polished Quartz on fireplace surround, mantle and hearth. Ran a gas line into the fireplace and installed propane fired ventless gas log.
Electrical:
Installed new breaker and circuit for gas fireplace and install cable/wiring accordingly. Installed 4 ea. gimbal (eyeball) four-inch recessed lights on vaulted ceilings and two standard four-inch recessed lights on the flat part of the ceiling. Removed the existing paddle fan and installed a new paddle fan. Cut snake and fished, 14/2 speaker wire for nine speakers and mounted speakers. Installed all new customer specified receptacles and switches in existing location and two new arc fault breakers for the living room.
Paint: Removed all window casings, jambs and sills. Customers request to keep circle trim window. Painted customer chosen color for walls, ceilings are standard flat white. All windows and door trim moldings to be stained customer chosen color and poly urethaned.
Hardwood Floors and Stairs:
Screwed existing living room plywood sub floor in order to prep for new pre-finished hardwood flooring. Installed Mercier Pro Series 3-1/4" Red Oak Carbon Satin hardwood flooring and stained oak stairs to match. For the railings we installed Hollow Iron in satin black.
