Kitchen Remodel: Custom Cabinetry and High-End Appliances for Increased Functionality and Elegance

In this kitchen remodel, we focused on enhancing both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space with the installation of custom cabinetry, premium appliances, and luxurious finishes.

One of the key features we added was a custom 96-inch cabinet along with a 15-inch upper and lower cabinet with Hampton-style soft-close doors. These additions were placed strategically next to the oven, providing ample additional storage while maintaining a streamlined and cohesive design. The soft-close doors and drawers offer a quiet, smooth operation that enhances the kitchen’s usability while giving it a high-end touch.

For a consistent look throughout, we installed all-new soft-close doors and dovetail drawer fronts across the kitchen. These solid, dovetail joints ensure durability and longevity, while the soft-close mechanism adds an element of luxury. We updated the hardware with elegant brushed nickel pulls and handles, giving the kitchen a modern, sleek finish. The new hardware not only enhances the design but also provides a tactile sense of quality each time the cabinets and drawers are opened.

To add a sophisticated finish, we installed crown molding along the top of the cabinetry, giving the kitchen a polished, built-in look. Additionally, we incorporated under-cabinet rail lighting, which not only highlights the beauty of the countertops and backsplash but also provides practical, task-oriented lighting for food preparation areas. This lighting, combined with the natural light in the space, creates a bright and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both everyday use and entertaining.

For appliances, we installed a state-of-the-art 30-inch Bosch oven, known for its precise temperature control and sleek, integrated design. Next to it, we added a 15-inch Tuscany single-zone wine fridge, offering convenient, temperature-controlled storage for wine and other beverages. This built-in unit adds a touch of luxury and is perfect for those who enjoy entertaining at home. The remodel also included the installation of a new dishwasher, seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry for a clean, uninterrupted aesthetic.

To complement the new appliances, we installed a modern Franke kitchen faucet and Franke soap dispenser at the sink, both known for their durable construction and elegant design. These fixtures, along with the new sink, elevate the overall look and function of the kitchen, making everyday tasks easier and more enjoyable.

The countertops are a standout feature of this remodel. We installed "Brown Fantasy" granite, a striking natural stone with swirling patterns of brown, gray, and white, which adds warmth and elegance to the space. The granite’s unique veining creates a beautiful contrast with the cabinetry, making the counters both a functional and aesthetic focal point. The 1/4" pencil edge detail provides a clean, modern finish, complementing the overall design.

For the backsplash, we selected Imperial Gris Bevel Glass subway tiles, grouted with Excel Mobile Pearl for a smooth, clean look. The glass tiles add a subtle shine and texture to the kitchen, reflecting light and giving the space an airy, modern feel. The beveled edges of the tiles create depth, adding dimension to the backsplash, while the soft gray color blends seamlessly with the granite countertops and cherry cabinetry.

Speaking of cabinetry, we chose Kabinet Art’s cherry cabinets, which were custom-stained to a higher sheen finish. The rich cherry wood adds a classic, timeless element to the kitchen, while the higher sheen stain provides a sleek, contemporary gloss that highlights the natural grain of the wood. These Made in the USA cabinets ensure not only high quality but also a touch of craftsmanship that adds warmth and character to the kitchen.

This kitchen remodel showcases the perfect balance between form and function, with high-quality materials, custom cabinetry, and modern appliances all working together to create a space that is as beautiful as it is practical. From the elegant granite countertops to the state-of-the-art appliances, every element of this remodel was carefully chosen to elevate the kitchen, offering the homeowners a luxurious and highly functional space they’ll enjoy for years to come.
