Charming 19th-century home in Boylston MA, required extensive structural work to restore and modernize the space. Before we could begin on the interior, we reconstructed much of the original floor and wall framing, added new beams and supports, and replaced the basement stairs and door, ensuring the home’s foundation was prepared for the renovation.

Kitchen Features
The newly transformed kitchen blends timeless character with modern functionality. We installed JSI Essex Castle Grey solid wood cabinets, featuring soft-close doors and drawers, and complemented them with Brushed Nickel Spectrum hardware for a sleek, sophisticated look.

The backsplash features a stunning Westside Mosaics Ciatolo Giada-Jade Pebble tile with Mist-colored grout, providing a natural, textured accent. The countertops are polished Daltile Quartz, offering durability and elegance, while the island is a showstopper—crafted from native reclaimed wood from the 1800s by Jarmak Reclaimed Wood in Oxford, MA, adding a historical touch to the heart of the kitchen.

For the kitchen sink, we installed an Iron Tones White Smart Divide Basin Sink with a Duo strainer, paired with a Delta 4197 AR DST Kitchen Faucet with Pullout Spray for ease of use. The space is enhanced by undercabinet lighting and a stylish Hines 13 1/2" Wide Pewter Pendant Light, illuminating the space beautifully.

The flooring is equally impressive, featuring Kalos Stone Bianco Luxury Vinyl Tile (12x24), finished with Silverado caulking, offering a clean, polished appearance. Finally, we installed Provia Endure White Triple Casement and Double Hung Windows, providing sweeping views of the beautiful surrounding mountains and fields.

Bathroom Remodel
Adjacent to the kitchen, we remodeled the bathroom and laundry station, continuing the theme of functionality and style. The bathroom features the same JSI Essex Castle Grey solid wood cabinetry with soft-close doors and drawers, and Daltile Quartz countertops. The vanity includes a sleek white rectangle undermount sink paired with a Delta widespread vanity faucet and drain.

For accessories, we installed a 24" Brushed Nickel Kelston towel bar and tissue holder. The lighting is elegant yet functional, with Bancroft Single Sconce vanity lights, and the bathroom is complete with a Kohler Memoirs Classic White Toilet with a Pure Warmth elongated seat, adding comfort and luxury to the space.

This remodel beautifully merges the old-world charm of a historic home with the convenience and style of modern living, creating a space that is both practical and inviting for the homeowners.
