CORE Remodeling Services added a three-season screen and glass panel room to this great house on Big Alum Pond/Lake. Deck was rebuilt with all new pressure treated supports to accommodate a new roof with balcony style Trex composite deck with white composite railings with New England style post caps on the roof off the master bedroom overlooking the lake. We used 9/16” tempered grey tinted laminated glass panels for the upper level deck and lower level of the screen room to allow perfect views of the great scenery of the lake. We also enclosed the lower level patio to provide a great space for hanging rocking chairs and more space to enjoy the great outdoors, with no bugs. Replaced old railings leading to the spiral staircase with new composite railings. Ceilings were finished with vinyl bead board ceilings with ceiling fans. All exposed wood was wrapped in white composite materials to make this a maintenance free space. The final touch from CORE to make the project complete, was to hang the family sign naming their home so they can enjoy and “linger awhile”.
